Made a quick evening trip after work today. launched at T-Rivers and fished our way down the canal. The wind was unreal. 15-20 mph. Fished surface lures but wind was just to hard. Switched over to plastic worms on the bottom with no results. We made our way down further to where the big pond is on the right guarded by pylons and picked up a bass there on a rattle trap. We noticed bait running on the surface there. Moved further down the canal where the tree line began. Bait was being chased on the surface more and more as it got later and we picked up a few more on crank baits casting into the middle of the canal where the surface action was. This place looks very promising and I am glad I checked it out. It was overcast with a high of 75. Couldn't tell what the tides where due to the vicious wind
