November 2nd was our coldest morning so far this fall. It wasn't just the temperature that was cold either. The bass fishing was far from hot for the teams fishing the Liars and Lunkers tournament on the Lock One Canal. The cooler weather and blue bird skies made for a good jack fish and choupique bite, but only one five bass limit was brought to the scales. Tommy Cooper and Clay Zeringue led the way with 7.44 pounds. They also took big bass honors with a 1.73 pounder. Second went to Tim Polk and Mark Creel with 2.67 pounds. Third place was Korey Inscoe and Tim Bennett with 1.57 pounds. The next Liars and Lunkers tournament will be December 14th at Lock One (either side).
