The Florida Parishes Bass Anglers will be hosting an Open tournament out of Manchac on October 22, 2016. No boundaries are in affect for the tournament which will payback 90% of the entry fee and 100% of the Big Bass option. 1 spot for every 6 boats will be paid. Entry will be $100 and big bass option is $10. Plaques will also be provided for the 1st place team and 1st place big bass courtesy of Crapanzana’s Heat and Air. Based of 35 boats 1st place will pay $1500 and based on 50 1st will pay $1850. Registration is underway and entry forms can be downloaded by going to fpbassanglers.com. Blast off will be based on time entry is received for the tournament. Blast off time will be safe light and weigh in will be at 3:00 pm. Cash only will be taken the morning of the tournament. Flights may be assigned based on total number of boats.
Angler gift bags, many door prizes and food will be provided for the anglers. For the food we are lucky to have one of the Northshores best competition cooks preparing the food. Joe Madere will be handling the cooking and he truly is one of the area’s best. Door prizes are provided by Louisiana Fish Fry Products, HowBig App, Jonesy Rod Sleeve, Stalker Fishing Lures, Bayou Country Lures, Pure Fishing, Mister Twister and Liberty Storage.
The Raffle will be a set up so that the anglers put their tickets in ONLY for the item they wish to win. A container will be placed in front of each raffle item and the anglers purchase tickets and can put them in only for the items they wish to win. No getting stuck with winning something you wouldn’t like to have. Raffle items are awesome for the Open. A custom rod built with an MHX blank and Winn grips (retail $250), Legend Cartography GeauX card (retail ($220), HowBig App supplied a sweet jacket, Randy Caminita Sr. is donating an awesome piece of framed art, Pure Fishing has donated a nice array of tackle including a rod and reel combo.
Anyone interested in signing up can do so at the ramp on tournament morning. Cash only will be accepted that morning and registration will open at 4:15. It’s shaping up to be a great day to go fishing for great money!!!!!
