Another year is in the books. The 2017 Bass Assassins season has come to an end and it was a amazing year. Lots of memories have been made, and lots of fish were caught. There was a good race for the AOY and the final points have yet to be added up. We will get them finished up soon to find out who are the lucky anglers who have qualified for the 2018 classic. The last tournament of the year was on the Tchefuncte River. Eleven anglers showed up to do battle on what turned out to be a beautiful day. Jimmy Dorris ended up being the champion for the day with his 9 lbs. 2 oz. limit. In second was Josh Endman with a limit weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. Richard Bennett claimed third with 3 fish for 5 lbs. 12 oz. Alex Duggan brought in a beautiful 4 lbs. 10 oz. kicker to take home big fish.
