Steve Hadley and Barrett Bryson, standing in for Joel Lee make it three in a row. With heavy thunderstorms in the area, several teams were unable to either make it to there fishing spot or make it back to the weigh in on time. Steve and Barrett didn't have either issue and took home another win, stretched out the point lead and took home a nice paycheck.
It only took 12.19 pounds to win the $2,500 first place prize, but it was also worth a big points jump for Steve and Joel. Now leading the series by 15 points, it would take something catastrophic for the team to not qualify for the BassMaster Team Championship with only one event remaining. Joel and Steve have been very consistent this year not winning each event by big margins, but just staying a pound or so over second to nip out the wins.
