24 teams fished the Dockside Tour Trail this weekend on the East Pearl River, putting the 3rd tournament of the year in the books. Outside of being a hot sunny day with temps rising up close to the 90 degree mark, Joel Lee and Steve Hadley would make it back to back wins with 14.75 pounds and bringing home $3,095 for their catch . Joel and Steve also took over the points lead and moved their way into position with 2 tours left to represent Dockside Marine Trail at the Bassmaster Team Championship at Kentucky Lake later in November. Corey Wheat and Tony Cooper would finish in 2nd place with 13.94 which was anchored by the 2nd place big fish of 4.84 pounds for a payday worth $1,440. With 13.42, John Gillespie and Jean Junius would take home 3rd place and a check of $928 for their day on the water with an additional $500 of bonus money for the highest finishing Skeeter / Yamaha package. New comers to the trail Robby Robinson & Chris Hults take home 4th place with 12.65. Robby and Chris also claimed the lunker of the day with a nice river fish weighing in at 5.07 pounds with a total payout of $535 .
