Thanks to everyone who came out for the Pearl River Team Trails Tournament on the Pearl River. Anglers who faced the Pearl today were faced with extremely tough conditions. The river was at flood stage and rising. The southeast wind had us under a coastal flood watch but it was the team of Mark Mohr and Charles Dauzat that brought in a bag worthy of first place. The 5-fish bag weighed 10.14 lbs. In second place was the team of Rustin Beaudette and Ben Williams weighing in at 10.11 lbs. Korey Inscoe and Jarred Norris brought in 10.10 lbs and also won the big fish award with a 3.15 lb largemouth.
The Pearl River Team Trail Tournament is a monthly bass tournament held on the second Saturday of each month. We are now registered with the NBS and all point totals will count towards the NBS Power Rankings. This is a 100% payout. If we can get 25 teams fishing, the payout for first place is $1,000.. This is a great tournament and its anyones game. 80.00 a team with optional 5.00 big bass. Launch at East Pearl. Contact Charles at 985-960-6936 for info. Hope to see ya there!
