I am always amazed how some fishermen I talk to reject the notion that there big bass can be caught in the rivers and bayou here on the Northshore. While we don't hit the 10 pounders very often, there are still some real hogs pulled out of our local waters weekly. I'd like to introduce something I have been working on called the NBS Big Bass Board. In 2015 we will be keeping track of all the winners in the big fish divisions throughout all of the tournaments that are cooperating with the Northshore Bass Series. When an angler wins the big fish division in any NBS Tournament he or she will be ranked according to how heavy that fish weighed at weigh-in. I ask all tournament directors to please get a picture of your big fish winners and turn it in with your normal results so that the angler can be represented on the board. The addition of this board is just another reflection of what our members wanted to see in 2015 and I thank you for your input.
