Even with the poor weather predicted for the day there was 30 anglers showed up at the Bayou Liberty Marina Sunday to do battle. The entire bay where the launch is was lined with boats. Anglers were anxious to get out on the water. The approaching front promised good fishing for the day, and it didn't break it. There was lots of fish that came to the scale along with some nice weights. After the dust settled it was Christian Pichon who finished on top with a 10 lbs. 7 oz. limit. Followed by Bill Dorris with a 8 lbs. 7 oz. limit. Cameron Wagner took home third with his 8 lbs. 2 oz. limit. In fourth with a limit weighing 7 lbs. 14 oz. was Will Henry. Rounding out the top 5 was Barrett Saunders with a 7 lbs. 13 oz. limit. The big fish award went to Will Henry for his 3 lbs. 15 oz. kicker.
