The bite was on despite the post front conditions. With high winds and blue bird skies after a front is usually a death sentence to an angler headed to the ramp. Someone forgot to tell the fish in the canal because they were on fire. The 15 anglers produced sixty-two fish for a total weight of just over 98 lbs. There was five fish over 3 lbs. in the mix as well. To top it all off it turned into a beautiful day. Timmy Dickens breezed to the win with his 12 lbs. 1 oz. limit anchored by a 5 lbs. kicker. Timmy's kicker was good for big fish of the day as well. In second was Cameron Wagner with a nice limit weighing 10 lbs. 4 oz. Morgan Schutte took home third place by putting together a 9 lbs. 2 oz. limit.
