Today the Bass Assassins invaded the Bayou Liberty / Bayou Bonfouca area. Early in the morning the rigs started lining up at the Liberty Marina parking lot. The forecast for the day was hot, but that didn't scare off the 22 anglers who fished today. The fishing has been good in the area so everyone had big hopes but as the day went on it seemed, for some, it proved to be a tough day. Mainly to catch a keeper size fish. However that was not the case for all anglers. There was some impressive bags brought in to the scale. Trenton Pittman easily cruised to victory with his 11 lbs. 3 oz. limit. Trenton also had a 4 lbs. 6 oz. kicker which was one three fish over four pounds that were weighed in. In second was Sam Jenkins with a 10 lbs. 11 oz. limit and a 4 lbs. 14 oz. kicker which was big fish of the day. Third went to Darren Welch with a 7 lbs. 8 oz. limit and a 4 lbs. 8 oz. kicker. Eric Ciko took fourth with a limit weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz.
