The story of the summer has been the rain that continues to fall throughout the area and as the FPBA launched at the East Pearl they were met with a rising Pearl but a west wind that had the water dropping the lower end of the river system as the day progressed. The anglers scattered at blastoff with some heading south while others headed north. The highlight of the day for many of the anglers was to find some shade to fish around and if a fish was caught it was a bonus for them. As weigh in rolled around the reports of plenty of fish being caught began to circulate and below are the final standings:
1st Darren Welch & Derek Paternostro 10.73lbs
2nd Scott Andrews & Paul Paille 8.89lbs
3rd Jason & Trenton Pittman 8.77lbs

The Mister Twister Big Bass of the tournament went to Darren and Derek with a fish weighing in at 3.93lbs and that fish earned them the Big Bass prize money as well as the tackle package provided by Mister Twister.
