On Sunday, May 21st the West Pearl River was finally at a desirable stage, measuring around the 7 foot mark on the Pearl River gauge. That was the good news. The bad news was that a front was approaching from the West and very strong thunderstorms and heavy rains were in the forecast for the day. Even with rain on the way, 21 teams were willing to brave the weather conditions and try their luck. The Pearl River system produced some nice stringers, with five teams weighing in over 10 pounds. Four bass over 3 pounds were also weighed in and over half the field had 5 fish limits. Trenton Pittman and Chase Damare took the win with 12.79 pounds. The big bass honors went to Tim Polk and Tim Bennett with a 3.83 pounder. The top four teams received cash prizes and are listed below:
1st Place 12.79 lbs. Trenton Pittman & Chase Damare
