A small crowd of 9 anglers showed up at the Hwy. 90 launch on the East Pearl for the last Bass Assassins tournament. That fall chill was in the air pushing the temps down to 55 degrees. The water was low and extremely clear. There was a lot of different strategies tossed around as everyone got ready for blast off. Some going to the marsh to catch the falling tide and some headed way north to get out of the salt water. The extremely clear water and high salinity didn't hurt the fishing any. Word at the weigh in was that lots of fish were caught. Anglers were saying they caught fish all day just no big ones. All in all it was a great day on the water for everyone. Joe Stokes took home the win with a 9.47 lbs. limit. In second we have Richard Allotto with a limit totaling 8.95 lbs. The big fish honors also went to Richard for his 2.87 lbs. big fish.
rd: Shane Hamilton 5 fish 6.83 lbs.
th: Chris Basey 5 fish 6.57 lbs.
th: John Cahill 5 fish 6.33 lbs.
th: Roger Mitchell 5 fish 5.70 lbs.
th: John Seghers 5 fish 4.74 lbs.
th: Gene Perilloux 3 fish 2.88 lbs.
