
The Double Nickel Bass Club held their tournament at the East Pearl River. There was a strong incoming tide all morning and most of the 22 boats that participated went north. In the end it was Mike Marodis who came out with the heaviest bag with 8.234 lbs. Marodis also won the big fish pot with a bass that weighed 4.519 lbs. In second place was Ralph Williams with 6.371 lbs. Roger Mitchell came in third place with 6.371 lbs. Richard Allotto took 2nd place big bass with a 2.954-lb. fish.
