The Winners
Our next tournament will be second saturday in february and it's the classic. Everyone is welcome but must pay the $10 membership fee if not already paid. this helps offset the cost for the top 6 plaques and the food.
We will have plaques for first place and also will be serving pizza and drinks for all the anglers.  This is a great tournament with 100% payouts.  So make plans and come on out and fish with us next month, February 11th.  if you want more info please call or text me.  985-960-6936. Thanks again

Davis & Rayborn Win First FPBA Tourney of 2017

The 2017 Florida Parish Bass Angler’s 2017 season kicked off January 8th with 14 boats showing up to do battle on the East Pearl.  With some of the coldest temperatures settling in on the anglers as daylight arrived, it was evident that it could be a long morning waiting on temperatures to just get above the freezing mark.  Several boats had compartments frozen shut while others had motors that were displeased with the conditions they were being put in.   As anglers began to check back in to the ramp at 3pm stories of ice on their rod guides lasting until mid-morning could be heard as well as the usual “ones that got away” tales.  The scales were opened and when it was all said and done here were the top four teams:

1st Lance Davis & Skip Rayburn 10.79lbs
2nd Doug Canoy & Patrick Engerran 9.68lbs
3rd Darren Welch & Derek Paternostro 8.27lbs
4th Barry Galloway & Ron Garic 7.80lbs

The Mister Twister Big Bass of the tournament went to Doug & Patrick with a fish weighing in at 4.09lbs and they received a coupon good for tackle of their choice from Mister Twister as well as the cash prize from the tournament.
