A small crowd of 10 anglers gathered at Lock 1 launch for the last Bass Assassins of 2023. There has been a lot of work going on at the launch and we were greeted by two back-down ramps and lots of room in front of them to back straight down. Another welcome change was the nice cool morning with the day forecasted to be in the mid-70s and sunny during the day. Not to long into the day we realized it was going to be a good day on the water. Everyone you talked to on the water said they had been catching fish all day. Jimmy Dorris was able to bring in the biggest 5 with 9.0 lbs. to take home the win.

In second was Gene Perilloux with a 7.86 lbs. limit. Joe Picone rounds up the top 3 with four fish totaling 6.19 lbs. The big fish of the day award went to Bill Dorris for his 4.15 lbs. kicker
4th: Troy Ladner 3 fish 5.98 lbs.
5th: Eric Ciko 5 fish 5.65 lbs.
6th: Chris Basey 5 fish 5.07 lbs.
7th: Bill Dorris 2 fish 5.02 lbs.
8th: Gauge Wagner 4 fish 4.38 lbs.
9th: Steve Hadley 1 fish .94 lbs.
