Chris Basey With the extreme temps. Lately it's been tough on fishermen. Weights have been coming down and it has been difficult to stay out on the water after 9am. A small crowd of six anglers gathered at the Menetre Park Boat Launch on the shores of the Tchefuncte River for the last Bass Assassins tournament. Troy Ladner brought in a limit that weighed 5.75 lbs. to take home first place. Right behind him in second we find Chris Basey with 3 fish that totaled 5.43 lbs. Chris also had the big bass of the day which was a 3.90 pounder.
