Chris Basey We had 23 anglers show up at Crawfords Landing for the last Bass Assassins tournament. It was a warm muggy morning. The tide in the marsh was a rising tide with a slight fall in the early afternoon. The river itself was at 10 feet and falling at a nice rate. It was looking like it was going to be a good day on the river for fishing. However looks can be deceiving. Even the anglers that caught some good fish said that they were not easy to come by. " It was a struggle " was the common phrase around the scale at weigh in. No matter how tough it is though, someone always figures them out. On this particular day it was Bill Dorris who brought in a 9.83 lbs. limit to take home the win.

In second we find Austin Keith with five fish totaling 7.91 lbs. Austin also had big fish of the day with a 2.97 lbs. kicker. Steve Hadley took home third place with a 7.27 lbs. limit. Rounding up the top 4 we have John Andrews with a 6.03 lbs. limit.
