Joe Picone The Double Nickel (West) fished the Tchefuncte River. Five anglers showed up to fish the event that saw temperatures in the 90s. Lot's of limits were caught today. Most of the anglers caught fish on topwater but it was Bobby Newberry who ended up with the heaviest bag by fishing deep. 5.11 pounds is what it took to beat out the field. Newberry also won the big fish pot with a kicker fish that weighed 2.64 pounds.
