Joe Picone The Double Nickel (west) fished the Tchefuncte River on Tuesday. 8 anglers showed up to compete on a river that was muddy with a falling tide. it was a tough day on the Tchefuncte as 3 anglers came couldn't manage to catch any fish. Bobby Newberry came in first place with a 3-fish limit that weighed 3.950 pounds. Newberry also caught the big fish of the day with a 2.570-pound bass. Tommy Rogers placed second with a limit weighing 3.380 pounds.
