The temps are really heating up and so is the fishing. Despite the forecasted rain we had 17 anglers showed up at the East Pearl Hwy. 90 launch. It seems like every day we have storms popping up. The rivers are all muddy and above normal height. The fishing has been good with big bags being brought in to tournament scales. In this tournament third place was a 11 lbs. 2 oz. limit brought in by Nick Richard. Timmy Dickens brought in a beautiful 12 lbs. 12 oz. limit. However that was only good for second place. Bruce Vallelungo blew everyone away with his 14 lbs. 6 oz. Bruce also had the big fish of the day which was 5 lbs. 12 oz.
