When the Bass Assassins gathered at the West Pearl this past Sunday they were greeted with cold post frontal conditions. On top of that the river was at 13 feet and rising at the Pearl River gauge. All of this combined means tough fishing and led to a small crowd of twelve anglers that showed up to do battle. All the anglers knew it would be a tough day. Out of the 12 only five brought in fish, however some of those fish were good size. There was a tie for first with Chris Basey and John Cahill both bringing in a 9.69 lbs. limit. Ties in the Bass Assassins are broken by the big fish of each angler. Chris's biggest fish was 3.40 and John's was 3.06 so Chris ended up with first place and John in second.

Third and big fish went to John Andrews who had 3 fish that totaled 8.23 lbs. along with a 3.41 kicker.
4th: Charly Plescia 5 fish 6.33 lbs.
5th: Steve Hadley 2 fish 2.29 lbs.
