Keith Lusher A group of 27 anglers gathered at the beautiful Foggy Waters Marina on scenic Bayou Liberty for the latest Bass Assassins Tournament. The temertures during the mornig hours were mild but it didn't take long for the tmeps to climb fast aftere the sun came up. The water level was normal height and falling to start the morning and the winds were light. As the morning progressed, the tide slowed down and looked like it wanted to change, but it never did. By weigh-in time it was reduced to a slow fall. With the shad spawn going on, anglers were anxious to get to their first spots fast as the numbers were called out. At the weigh in "tough" was the word on everyone's lips around the scale. 9 or 27 anglers did not bring in any fish. In first place we have Chris Basey with a 8.93 lbs. limit.

Following closely in second we find David Smith with a 8.49 lbs. limit. John Seghers took home third with a 7.34 lbs. limit. A 6.49 lbs. limit propelled Daniel Charbonnet into fourth. The big fish honors went to 3rd place John Seghers for his 3.22 lbs. kicker.
