
The Bass Assassins wrapped up the 2022 season on the Tchefuncte river this past Sunday. The seven anglers that showed up to do battle were faced with tough conditions. Post frontal with a lot of rain falling the day before. The river was high and not too muddy, however the fishing was still tough. Chris Basey brought in two fish that totaled 4 lbs. 6 oz. to claim first place. Jodie Holden took home second with 3 fish that totaled 4 lbs. 3 oz. The 3 lbs. 3 oz. big fish of the day was brought in by Chris Basey.
3rd: Bruce Vallelungo 3 fish 3 lbs. 13 oz.
4th: Gene Perilloux 3 fish 3 lbs. 6 oz.
5th: Dalton Staford 2 fish 2 lbs. 11 oz.
4th: Gene Perilloux 3 fish 3 lbs. 6 oz.
5th: Dalton Staford 2 fish 2 lbs. 11 oz.
The Bass Assassins 2022 season is done. The Classic will be in February at Lock 1. I will reach out to all the anglers who have qualified once I finalize the points.
