For the last Bass Assassins we fished Bayou Liberty in some of the worst conditions you could ask for. On Saturday there was a big front that came through dumping a good bit of rain and if that wasn't enough from 4 a.m. till 6:30 a.m. on Sunday another front came through as everyone was trying to launch their boats. It was a wet start to the day with the day becoming very windy and a slight chill in the air. It was a tough day of fishing. The weights were really low and only 10 of the 17 anglers who fished managed to bring in fish to weigh in. Of those 10 CJ Pichon ended up on top with a 4.71 lbs. limit. In second we find John Cahill who has been on fire this year. John brought in a limit totaling 4.27 lbs. Third place honors went to the 2023 Classic champ Bill Dorris for his 3.70 lbs. limit. Bruce Vallelungo won the big fish pot with 2.33 pounds.
