The Bass Assassins tournament on the East Pearl had a great turn out this past Sunday.  Twenty-six anglers showed up to do battle on the massive Pearl River system.  The West Pearl was high and the East Perl along with the marsh was low.  Not to mention that it was post frontal conditions.  That didn't stop these anglers from catching a bunch of fish.  There was ninety-two bass brought to the scales and it was a close race up top.

In first it was Clay Zeringue who brought in a 10 lbs. 12 oz. limit to best the field.  Clay's limit also consisted of the big fish of the day which was a 4 lbs. 8 oz. beauty.  In second Steve Ruschmeier brought in a limit weighing 10 lbs. 5 oz.  Third place was a three way tie.  In the case of ties in a pay out place the ties are broken with the big fish of each angler in the tie.  Hunter Zeringue took home third winnings with a limit weighing 8 lbs. 15 oz. and a 3 lbs. 6 oz. kicker.  Fourth winnings went to Joe Picone who also had a 8 lbs. 15 oz. limit and a 3 lbs. kicker.  The third angler in the three way tie for third was Jimmy Dorris with a 8 lbs. 15 oz. limit and a 2 lbs. 15 oz. kicker.
