An unusually cool misty morning was what greeted the 20 anglers who showed up to fish Lock 1 tournament this past Sunday. An approaching front was bringing in rain early in the morning with clearing skies for the weigh in. Wind was also an element that everyone had to deal with all day. The canal was still slightly stained from the large amounts of rain that fell a week before. With the approaching front everyone was talking at the weigh in about how good the fishing was with lots of fish caught just no size to them. Eric Ciko figured out how to catch the bigger ones to put together a 9.66 lbs. limit to clain 1st place. Eric also brought in the biggest fish of the day which was a solid 2.95 lbs. bass. In second we find Chris Basey with a 7.68 lbs. limit. Andy Adams ended up in third with his limit totaling 6.98 lbs. Rounding up the top four we find John Cahill with a 6.81 lbs. limit.
