Dwain Crumby The Double Nickel Bass Club fished the East Pearl River on Tuesday. 19 boats showed up and faced a brisk north wind. The wind made for an extra low tide but everyone was able to find clean water coming out of the drains mixing at the mouth of the main river. At the weigh-in, everyone was complaining about the weather but stayed optimistic by telling eachother that it will be better for the next tournament. In the end it was
Guy Steigall who came in first place with 8.565 pounds. Terry Lott came in second place with 8.201 pounds. Lott also won the big fish pot with a bass that weighed 5.126 pounds. Tommy Watkins took third place with 6.760 pounds.
