Seventeen (17) teams competed for cash prizes in the fourth of five Fall/Winter Series tournaments held by the Liar's and Lunker's on November 28th out of the East Pearl River. There were plenty of bass brought to the scales with fifteen (15) of the seventeen (17) teams having a five bass limit. When the dust settled, the team of James Harris and Chad Hartzog took the win with 14.44 pounds. They also had the days biggest bass which weighed 4.00 pounds.
Second place went to Timmy Dickens and Jay Breland with 12.47 pounds. Finishing a close third was Jim Waller and Peyton Waller with 12.45 pounds. The weights have definitely gone up in the last few weeks since the river system has stabilized.
If you want to get in on the action, we will be having our last tournament of the year on Sunday, December 26th at the East Pearl River. For everyone who has fished at least three of the 2021 Fall/Winter Series tournaments, we will have a free, classic style tournament in January.
