
18 boats showed up to fish the Double Nickel tournament at the East Pearl River. The river was low with an incoming tide and the water was very murky It was an early morning bite for some with a lot of small fish being caught. Those that fished in the right spots caught fish. At weigh-in James Harris took first place with a 3-fish tournament limit that weighed 6.05 pounds. Harris also won the big bass pot with a 3.05-pound bass weighing 3.05 lbs. Ralph Dunn came in second place with 4.81 pounds. Norman Johnson came in third place with 4.72 pounds.
