Chris Basey Today the 21 Bass Assassins gathered at the Fourth Street Launch to do battle on the Tchefuncte River. The morning was a little brisk but it quickly got up into the 80's. It turned out to be a beautiful day on the water. Of course you know what that means on the Tchefuncte. By ten o-clock the river was full of jet skies and pleasure boats, however some folks were able to fish through all the traffic and bring in some good bags. Landin Williams took home first place and big fish with his impressive 9.54 lbs. limit and 4.40 kicker.

Not far behind we find Chad Babin in second with a 8.45 lbs. limit. Steven Verberne took home third with a limit weighing 7.47 lbs. Kerry Terrebonne ended up fourth with a 4.71 lbs. limit.
