The 2016 Bass Assassins season is almost over. However the excitement is far from over. With only four tournaments left the race for the angler year is setting up for a true battle. Its still anybody's game and for the first time this year we have a lead change along with a few other anglers making some big climbs in the standings. Patrick Engerran passed Chris Basey up for the lead by 35 points with the last tournament on Crawfords this past Sunday. Gene Perilloux moved up a spot with a lot of room to improve, and Eric Ciko has been on a roll which has Patrick and Chris nervous. The biggest climb was the winner of the Crawfords tournament Jared Norris who clawed from 15th to 10th in points. Jared brought in a limit weighing 10 lbs. 2 oz. to easily take the win and a 4 lbs. 10 oz. kicker to bring home big fish as well. Second place went to a Pearl River vet Timmy Dickens for his 9 lbs. 7 oz. limit. Eric Ciko claimed 3rd. with a 9 lbs. 5 oz. limit.
