I'd like to introduce something that I have been working on for for a while called the Northshore Bass Series. With the recent surge of bass tournaments and interest in them this past few months I thought it would be interesting to break down the top anglers who compete in these tournaments as sort of a "who's-who" in the local bass fishing world. The Northshore Bass Series will serve as a hub for bass fishing tournaments and can be used to get the word out about upcoming tournaments. I will be working with all the local tournaments to compile results and to update you on everything on the local tournament scene. If you are a tournament angler on the Northshore, consider this your new home tournament results, standings, articles, and interviews. I urge you to please be involved. Tournament owners need to stay in contact with me as far as the dates and times of their next tournaments and the results. Please use the "Local Tournaments" page on the forum for any updates to your schedules and results for your tournaments.
2014
The 2014 season will start out with the Bass Assassins Tournament only! If you run a bass tournament on the Northshore and would like to add your tournament to the NBS please get in touch with me. [email protected]
You will need to submit results for EVERY tournament you host if you want to participate.

Tournament Standings
Tournament standings are based on the total number of points an angler accumulates during each event throughout the fishing year. The point system will cover all Bass Assassins Tournament Series for 2012 & 2013 and the last RP3 Bass King Tournament. We used the anglers top 5 finishes overall from those tournaments to determine the standings. They consist of 200 points to the event winner with a 5 point decrease for each position through 10th place, and a 10 point decrease from 11th to 20th place. 21st place down to 25th place will be awarded 45 points. All of these results will be wiped away in 2014 and an annual rankings will be determined. At the end of each year the top angler will win the Northshore Bass Angler of the year award. Hopefully with the help of our local businesses we can put together a sponsorship package for the winner each year. Below is the point system we will be using and the standings from the past two years. Keep in mind that these are only from Bass Assassins and the last RP3 tournament. In 2014 I want to keep tabs on every local tournament that is willing to participate in the series.
