Chris Basey With the lack of rain lately the rivers around the northshore are clearing up quite well, and the East Pearl is no exception. When the Bass Assassins showed up at the East Pearl launch they were greeted with a falling tide, mild temperatures, and clear water. All the makings for a beautiful day. Fourteen anglers showed up to the Hwy. 90 launch to do battle. The fishing turned out to be better than it's been lately. Sam Jenkins brought in a limit weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz. to take home the win.

Right behind Sam we find Steve Hadley with a 8 lbs. 9 oz. limit. In third place we find Brent Harrell with 5 fish totaling. 7 lbs. 1 oz. The 3 lbs. 11 oz. big fish of the day was brought in by second place Steve Hadley.
