​A windy East Pearl River was the loaction for the latest Double Nickel Bass Tournament. A crowd of 24 showed up to fish a an incoming tide. In the end it was Chris Stuart who brought in a 3-fish tournament limit weighing 6.12 pounds. Stuart also won second place in the big bass division with a 4.64-pound bass.  C J Pichon and Ralph Williams both brought in a bag weighing 5.70 pounds for a tie.  

A large crowd of 32 anglers gathered at the 4th street launch on Tchefuncte River for the last Bass Assassins tournament.  The weather has been good leading up to the tournament and the river was stable.  This had everyone itching to get out and fish.  The fishing was great as seen by the amount of fish brought into the scales.  Not a lot of big fish caught but there was a lot of fish were brought into the scales.  After the scales were closed it was Devin Artigue who ended up on top with a 8.69 lbs. limit. 

The Double Nickel Bass Club fished the East Pearl River on Tuesday. 24 boats showed up to fish a high river with Southeast winds blowing water in. At the weigh-in it was CJ Pichon who came out on top with a 3-fish tournament stringer weighing 5.12 pounds. Pichon also caught the big fish of the day: a 3.10-pound bass. Bill Dorris came in second place with 4.6 pounds. In third place was Chris Stuart who weighed in a 3-fish limit of 4.2 pounds.  Ralph Williams took second place big bass with a 2.9-pound fish.
