After the hottest week of the year we had a very mild Fathers Day morning for the Bass Assassins on Bayou Lacombe. The morning was breezy and was overcast till around 11. After that the sun came back out along with the heat. Fifteen anglers showed up to do battle out on the bayou, and for Shane Dunnegan it was a very memorable day. Shane brought in the biggest bag I remember seeing on Bayou Lacombe to claim the top place over all 15 anglers. He had a 17.17 lbs. limit with two fish over 6 lbs. in it. Shane's biggest fish was 6.50 lbs. which easily claimed the big fish honors for the day as well. Dustin Touchet brought in a 7.48 lbs. limit to claim second. To round up the top three we find John Seagers with a limit totaling 6.36 lbs.
4th: Timmy Dickens 5 fish 6.26 lbs.
