The Bass Assassins last tournament was held on the East Pearl.  The day before this tournament it stormed all day creating a very muddy river.  It was surprisingly low with a rising tide.  So we had a full moon, post frontal, and rising tide conditions.  It was shaping up to be a tough day.  At the weigh in it was obvious it was definitely tough.  Dwain Crumby took home the win with a 8.58 lbs. limit.  Dwain also had the big fish of the day with a 3.58 lbs. kicker.  In second we find Chad Babin with a limit totaling 7.12 lbs.  Timmy Dickens took home third with a 6.80 lbs. limit.

It was great weather for the 25 anglers that showed up to fish Double Nickel Bass Tournament on Tuesday.  The great weather translated to great fishing as most off the boats caught a limit. After all was said and done, Guy Steigall came in with 7.71 pounds to claim first place. Steigall also caught the 2nd place Big Bass which was a 4.37-pound fish. Rob Roberts places second with 7.65 pounds. Roberts also won the big bass division with a bass that weighed  5.29 pounds. In third place was Bob Perry with a limit weighing 6.52 pounds. 

The weather was perfect for the 22 anglers who fished the Double Nickel tournament on Tuesday. The water was a little high and muddy in some areas but Barry Lee was able to figure them out and weigh in a 3-fish tournament limit of 7.27 pounds. Lee won second place in the big bass division with a 3.71-pound bass. Dwain Crumby placed second with 5.79 pounds. In third place was Bill Dorris with 5.63 pounds Mike Mardos had first place big bass with a 3.81-pound bass.
