The Double Nickel Bass Club fished the East Pearl River. 27 teams showed up to claim bragging rights. It was an overcast day with a light breeze that made for a good morning, however, the fish didn’t want to corporate as the weights were low. Ralph Dunn was able to put together a 3-fish stringer weighing 6.94 pounds. His biggest bass won the big fish pot at 3.31 pounds. Second place went to Bob Perry with 4.69 pounds. Bill Dorris came in third place with 4.44 pounds. Joe Frierson won second place Big Bass with a 2.65-pound fish.
The Double Nickel Bass Club is holding its next tournament at the East Pearl River on Tuesday, May 2. For more information please contact Dwain Crumby at 985-502-6006.
