The Double Nickel Bass Club fished the East Pearl River on a cloudy, overcast day that was a stiff wind blowing upriver making hard for the water to go out. The water was high all morning and fishing in the marsh was hard for the ones who went south. However, most boat went north. In the end it was Bob Perry who took first place with 7.16 pounds. Perry also won big fish with a bass that weighed 3.89 pounds. Second place went to Jason Lee with who brought in a 3-fish limit of 5.82 pounds. Tommy Watkins won third place with 5.72 pounds.

The Double Nickel Bass Club fished the East Pearl River. Overcast skies greeted the 18 anglers who competed in the event. The tide was outgoing all morning and anglers came back with a lot of fish, however, not many big fish were brought in. Dwain Crumby ended up in first place at the end of the day with a 3-fish tournament limit that weighed. 7.74 pounds. Crumby also caught the big fish of the day 3.73 pounds. Jason Lee won second place with a limit weighing 6.51 pounds. Bill Dorris took third with a 3-fish bag that weighed 5.34 pounds.
