The Double Nickel Bass Club fished the East Pearl River. 17 boats showed up to fish a river that saw clean water in some locations but murky in others. It was a beautiful, cool morning with a falling tide. In the end it was Tommy Watkins who came out on top with a 3-fish tournament limit weighing 7.25 pounds. Mickey Breland took second place with a limit that weighed 6.85 pounds. In third place was Ralph Dunn with 3 fish that weighed 6.76 pounds. Jimmy Howell won the big fish pot with a 3.89-pound bass. 

On October 30th, the Liars and Lunker's held their third Fall / Winter Series tournament of the year at Crawford's Landing on the West Pearl River. Sixteen (16) teams entered for a chance to win cash prizes and bragging rights. At the end of the day, Trevor "Turbo" Truax took the win with 9.41 pounds of bass.  He also took big bass honors with a 3.15 pounder. Second place went to Steve Hadley with 9.05 pounds.  The team of Timmy Dickens and Jay Breland took third with 8.75 pounds.

The Double Nickel Bass Club fished this morning with 22 boats showing up. It was a cool morning with light incoming tide. Half went south others went north. 1st place went to Ralph Dunn with 9.347 he also had 1st in big bass 4.012. 2nd place went to Tommy Watkins with 6.911. 3rd went to Barry Lee with 5.258 also 2nd place in big bass.
