This is the time of year when folks start to put their rods up for bows and rifles leading to smaller crowds at the tournaments. A small crowd of 10 anglers showed up to the Main Street Launch on Bayou Lacombe last Sunday for the Bass Assassins tournament. The bayou looked great but this fall transition has been a tough one. The fish have been very finicky. Out of ten anglers only 12 bass were weighed in. Eric Ciko brought in 4 bass totaling 6 lbs. 5 oz. which was enough to claim first place.

We had a tie for second place with both Steve Hadley and Shane Dunnegan bringing in 5 lbs. 2 oz. Steve's 3 lbs. 12 oz. big fish was bigger than Shane's 3 lbs. 6 oz. big fish. This broke the tie putting Steve in second and Shane in third. First place Eric also brought in the big fish of the day which was a 4 lbs. 1 oz. kicker.
4th: Chris Basey 1 fish 2 lbs. 15 oz.
5th: Jimmy Dorris 2 fish 2 lbs. 7 oz.
