Mickey Breland Wins Double Nickel With 4.76-pound 3-fish limit

The Double Nickel fished the East Pearl River. The temperatures were cold in the morning at blast-off as 23 boats raced in all directions. The weather warmed up nicely after the morning progressed. The water was high if you went north and anglers who went south experienced low water. After all said and done finishing infers place was  Mickey Breland with 3-fish weighing 4.76 pounds.  Second place went to James Harris with 4.751 pounds. Jerry Bullock came out in third place with a total wight of 4.40. Ralph Williams took first place in the big bass division with a bass that weighed  2.73 pounds. Second place big bass went to CJ Pichon with a 2.42-pound fish

Patrick Engerran and Brain Ballard Win FBPA at Bayou Lacombe!

Florida Parishes Bass Anglers held their tournament at Bayou Lacombe. It was a warm day for anglers. Patrick Engerran and Brian Ballard came out on top at the weigh-in with a 5-fish bag that weighed 9.53 pounds. Wayne Richardson and Wayne Jr. came in second pace with a limit that weighed 8.59 pounds. In third place was Bernard Sheets and Chris Day with 7.11 pounds. Patrick Engerran caught the big fish of the day: a 5.46-pound

Jerry Bullock Leads the Double Nickel Pack at East Pearl

The Double Nickel Bass Club fished Tuesday morning. We had 22 boats show up to face cold morning and wind blowing. The water was low and just a little murky but some found clean water. After all was said and first place went to Jerry Bullock with 6.217 pounds. In second place was Joe Picone with 5.864 pounds. In third was Ralph Williams with 5.743 pounds. First place big bass went to James Harris with a 3.704 bass. Second place big bass was Ralph Williams with 3.593 pounds.
