The Double Nickel Bass Club fished the East Pearl River on a windy day with bluebird skies. The 23 anglers that fished the event headed in different directions but in the end it was the ones who fished the West Pearl who lead the pack. Ralph Dunn caught 3 fish that weighed a total of 8.4 pounds to take first place. In second place was Joe Frierson who weighed in 3 fish at a combined weight of 7.06 pounds. James Harris finished in third place with a 3-fish tournament limit weighing 6.98 pounds. Tommy Watkins caught the big fish of the day: a 3.63-pound bass.
