Joe Picone It was a tough day fishing the Tchefuncte River as six anglers competed in the Double Nickel (west) event. The weather was cool, with mostly overcast skies and a dropping barometric pressure before the front. There was one angler who blew away the field by catching a 6.350-pound bass and that was Richard Allotto. Allotto's big fish not only won the big bass pot but propelled him to first place with a total weight of 10.170 pounds.
