Patrick Engerran Brutal Heat. That describes our July 12 th derby out of Manchac. Changing spots wasn’t just a gut feeling it, it was a chance to cool off. Good thing is Manchac offers a multitude of choices to run to. At blast off the 9 boats spread out to try and find some money fish and use the manual A/C a boat motor makes. Fishing was tough and the heat melted the brain making good decisions tough. When the weigh in time came the weights wasn’t as bad as expected.
