Dwain Crumby The Double Nickel bass Club kicked of their Spring/Summer season this past Tuesday by fishing the East Pearl River. While the weather was good, the water conditions left something to be desired. There were 20 boats that showed up to fish and in the end it was Roger Mitchell who came out in first place with a 3-fish tournament limit weighing 6.900 pounds. Mitchell also won the big bass pot by bringing in a bass that weighed 3.860 pounds. Tommy Watkins came in second place with 6.515 pounds. In third place was Joe Picone who brought in 3 fish weighing 6.515 pounds.
