Joe Picone The Double Nickel Bass Club held their tournament at the East Pearl River. eighteen anglers gathered to fish the event on a cloudy and windy day. The river was high and falling. In the end it was Ron Hindman who took first place with a 3-fish tournament limit weighing 5.17 lbs. In second place was Joe Frierson with a limit that weighed 4.88 lbs. Dwain Crumby finished in third place with 3 fish weighing 4.65 lbs. The big fish of the day was a 4.16-pound bass caught by Rodney Wilkinson.
