Crawfords Landing was the site of the last Bass Assassins tournament. We had to cancel this tournament two weeks prior to this due to a large storm front that was passing through the area. That front dumped a lot of rain from here to Jackson which caused the river to climb to flood stages and back down to 13.5 feet in those two weeks. When we showed up at the launch the river was falling 1 foot a day pulling lots of water out of the swamps and the fish were on the move. This day was going to prove to be tough. Out of the 15 anglers that showed up to fish only 7 were able to bring fish to the scale. Topping the field we find a Pearl River legend Steve Hadley who brought in a 7.39 lbs. limit. Steve's bag also contained the big fish of the day which was a 2.03 pounder.

In second we find John Cahill with a 6.43 lbs. limit. Rob Roberts took home third with a limit weighing 6.23 lbs.
4th: Bill Dorris 4 fish 5.89 lbs.
5th: Justin Birch 3 fish 4.38 lbs.
6th: John Andrews 4 fish 3.42 lbs.
7th: Devin Artigue 1 fish 1.65 lbs.
