A small group of 12 anglers came out to Bayou Lacombe to brave the heat. The water on the Bayou had a stain to it and the tide was coming in slowly. Conditions that most anglers cringe. Staying close to the launch proved to be the best choice as Timmy Dickens brought in a 10 lbs. 1 oz. limit to claim first place. Timmy was handicaped by mechanical issues but that didn't hold him back.
Steve Hadley took home second with only 3 fish. His 3 fish totaled 9 lbs. 11 oz. and his big fish was 5 lbs. 5 oz. earning him the big fish honors as well. A Bayou Lacombe regular John Cahill took home third place with a 5 lbs. 15 oz. limit.
4th: Jodie Holden 4 fish 5 lbs. 13 oz.
5th: Kevin Bovia 4 fish 4 lbs. 4 oz.
6th: Josh Endman 3 fish 3 lbs. 3 oz.
7th: Chris Basey 3 fish 3 lbs. 11 oz.
