Chad Hartzog The 2023 Liars and Lunker's Spring/Summer Series wrapped up on July 30th with the season ending classic tournament out of Crawford's Landing. The river was finally falling and despite the heat, lots of big bass were weighed in. Timmy Dickens took the victory with 10.49 pounds. Eric Ciko and Ryan Howard took second place with 10.15 pounds. Third place went to James Harris and Chad Hartzog with 9.49 pounds. They also had the days biggest bass, which top the scales at 4.56 pounds.

After everyone took in some hot pizza and cold beverages, the seasons top three teams received plaques and bragging rights. The top team was Steele Sessions and Tyler Allgood. Coming in second for the season was Charles Dauzat and Mark Mohr. The third place team was Rustin Beaudette and Cristian Beaudette.

The 2023 Liars and Lunker's Fall/Winter Series will kick off on August 27th at the East Pearl. One important rule change to be aware of is the new weigh in time. For the 2023 Fall/Winter Series, we will weigh in at 12PM. This will give folks plenty of time to squeeze in an evening hunt or watch some afternoon football games. The season schedule is as follows:
